Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of OB experience required License: Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification, S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Certification required Must-Have: Must have completed at least one travel assignment. Must be able to function as a first assist and scrub OB (highly preferred). Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for the care of assigned patients during their shift. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria. Judgments are made based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills. The RN assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries. Flexibility with work schedule changes is necessary. Candidates who can perform varied shifts are preferred; those available for days or nights only will also be considered.
