Digital Product Development Specialist

This position will support the development of digital products across a multitude of technology platforms and will help empower Client’s customers to manage their business more efficiently. This individual will be responsible for evaluating and refining potential solutions that enhance the value of our machine products in our web solutions. This position will work between stakeholders and development teams translating customer needs to build solutions that meet customer and dealer needs. This position must have demonstrated experience delivering results within complex projects.

Possess the ability to conceptualize and communicate ideas to stakeholders of all levels within an organization. Possess the ability to collaborate with the development teams to address industry needs. Ability to deliver on short-term needs that fit into a long-term vision.

Technical skills required:

• 5-7 years of earthmoving equipment and/or telematic solutions experience
• Requires ability to listen to customers and stakeholders to identify new products and features.
• Experience in the development of information-based solutions for the heavy equipment industry.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel – advanced)
• A result driven, self-starter with a unique combination of technical knowledge, business acumen and strong general and emotional intelligence.

Desired skills:

• PowerBi, Tableau, or MATLab/ Simulink
• HIL/SIL testing

Soft skills required:

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one’s time. Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery. Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue. Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment and computer hardware and software. Knowledge of computer development software across multiple platforms.
