Details Work in the Pediatrics unit of a hospital setting with float requirements to PICU Patient population includes respiratory, trauma, psych, diabetes, general med surg, and eating disorder cases Typical patient ratio of 1:2 Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 19:00-7:00 Every third weekend required Uses Epic charting system 13-week assignment length Requirements Active MA RN license required in hand to be considered BLS and PALS certifications required APHON certification preferred 2 years of recent Peds/PICU experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Preferred experience in a Trauma Level I setting Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher Additional Information Care for a diverse pediatric patient population including respiratory, trauma, psychiatric, diabetes, general med-surg, and eating disorder cases Will primarily be stationed on the Pediatrics unit with required floating to PICU Must complete a Pass/Fail Tele test during orientation with an 80% passing score and only one attempt allowed; failure to pass results in cancellation of assignment Must also complete a Pass/Fail Medication exam at orientation Union facility with no special scheduling accommodations; must be able to work all 7 days as scheduled Up to 14 days of RTO may be submitted for review, with no RTO permitted during the first week of assignment Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate within a 75-mile radius Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system before reapplying American Traveler Job ID #P-745414.
