Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Able to read telemetry strips preferred.

Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details: General medical patients including sepsis, COPD, bowel obstructions, CHF, etc. RNs titrate insulin and heparin drips. No tele monitor techs are available on the unit. Telemetry is monitored from a centralized location in AZ and is reachable via the Ascom app on iPhone. Charge nurse does not take an assignment. CNA support ratio is 1:10-14. CPAP and established BiPAPs only.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends as needed. Holidays as required.

Floating Requirements: First to float. Primary to St. Francis Hospital; when not needed on the unit, travelers may be floated throughout Region I, including St. Anne Hospital - Burien, WA and Virginia Mason Medical Center - Seattle, WA, wherever support is needed.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
