Sr. Risk Analyst Duties
The successful candidate will perform the full range of Sr. Risk Analyst duties. Such duties include but are not limited to: Performs and evaluates risk analyses, including performance assessments, and provides risk insights to support the development or assessment of the design, implementation, operation, remediation, and closure of facilities that have or have used radioactive material. Applications include decommissioning sites to the requirements of 10 CFR 20, Subpart E and 10 CFR 40, Appendix A, licensing actions for low-level waste (LLW) facilities, and reviews for other waste facilities for which NRC is providing technical assistance or has an oversight role, such as, waste incidental to reprocessing (WIR). This position leads reviews, manages multiple high-priority project evaluations at the same time, and is consulted as an expert by divisions throughout the agency.
