Accepted backgrounds: Technical diploma HVAC apprenticeship Mechanical/building services trade program Experience 6–10+ years of HVAC maintenance experience preferred 3–5 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or GMP environments preferred Cleanroom HVAC experience highly preferred Position Summary The Senior Maintenance HVAC Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting HVAC and environmental control systems in GMP facilities. This role supports cleanrooms, laboratories, and production areas while ensuring compliance with FDA and EU GMP standards. The technician will support: HVAC systems BMS/SCADA systems Cleanroom pressurization Temperature/humidity control HEPA filtration Environmental monitoring systems Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective HVAC maintenance Troubleshoot AHUs, chillers, boilers, VAVs, exhaust systems, and humidity controls Maintain cleanroom environmental conditions and pressurization Support BMS/EMS/SCADA systems Perform sensor calibration and support IQ/OQ/PQ activities Complete GMP documentation, SOPs, and maintenance records Support audits, CAPA, and change control activities Utilize CMMS systems for work order management Follow LOTO and other EHS safety procedures Support HVAC projects, shutdowns, and equipment upgrades Required Skills HVAC systems maintenance and troubleshooting AHUs, chillers, boilers, HEPA filtration, and airflow systems GMP and cleanroom knowledge BMS systems (Siemens, Johnson Controls, AB preferred) Calibration and validation experience Root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills Strong communication and documentation skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to climb ladders and work in mechanical spaces Ability to work onsite and support on-call rotation PPE usage in lab/cleanroom environments required LG R6 Employment Type: Contract Salary: $33 - $36 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
