Lube Technician

Lube Technician Join the Southern Motors Service Team! We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our growing service department. As a Lube Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our customers’ vehicles running safely and efficiently through expert maintenance and attentive service. Key Responsibilities Perform oil changes and fluid top-offs according to manufacturer specifications Inspect vehicle systems and components for leaks, wear, or other potential issues Check and adjust tire pressure as needed Replace filters, windshield wipers, batteries, and other basic parts Lubricate moving parts to ensure optimal performance Keep engines and work areas clean during servicing Communicate vehicle concerns to lead technicians or service advisors Complete accurate service reports for customers Qualifications 1+ year of experience in automotive maintenance or repair preferred ASE certification a plus Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and time management abilitiesCommitment to providing top-quality customer service Benefits Health, Dental & Vision Insurance – Eligible the 1st of the month after 60 days (multiple plan options through SBG and UNUM) Life & AD&D Insurance – Company-paid and voluntary plans available Disability Coverage – Voluntary short- and long-term options Accident, Critical Illness & Hospital Indemnity – Voluntary plans for added financial security 401(k) Retirement Plan – Eligible after 6 months; company match after 1 year (up to 4% total) with 6-year vesting About Southern Motors At Southern Motors, we take pride in our reputation for honesty, integrity, and outstanding customer care.
