Snapshot / Role Overview

We're seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in Orange County to lead HVAC system design for large commercial, healthcare, and industrial projects.

Impact

Design systems that perform the way the drawings promise.
Cut energy use with smart load calculations and modeling.
Raise the whole team's game by mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

Lead design of chilled water, hot water, VRF, and air distribution systems.
Produce and review drawings in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
Run load calculations, energy models, and performance analysis.
Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and field crews so design meets installation.
Mentor junior engineers and share what works.

Must-Haves

Five or more years designing commercial HVAC systems.
Strong skills in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
Working knowledge of ASHRAE standards, Title 24, and the California Mechanical Code.
Familiarity with Orange County building requirements.

Nice-to-Haves

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Leadership training or industry certifications.

Compensation and Logistics
