CNC Operator

CNC Operator B&T USA is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role will operate CNC machines and equipment, prepare test runs to ensure a machine is working properly as well as inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines to perform various tasks like drilling, grinding, and milling. Understand specifications of the task at hand by reading blueprints and mechanical drawings. Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct functions. Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines. Monitor machines as they run and adjust as needed Inspect and measure finished products using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure they meet specifications. Perform daily maintenance on the machinery to ensure functionality. Adhere to production schedules and meet deadlines Required Education/Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent 2-3 years of proven experience as a CNC operator. Knowledge of 5 axis vertical and 4 axis horizontal mills and multi spindle/turret mill turn lathes a plus Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs unassisted and up to 50lbs assisted. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Regularly required to stand, bend, reach with hands and arms; and stoop or crouch. Work performed in a manufacturing shop. Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, orders, fumes, etc. Job Type FT – Hourly, on-site. Four-day workweek. All shifts available. 1st shift (7am - 5:30pm) 2nd shift, includes a shift differential (5pm - 3:30am) & weekend shift. Overtime may be required based on production needs.
