Position Overview We are seeking experienced, reliable, and caring On-Call Caregivers to join our team. This is a part-time, flexible position ideal for someone who values variety, independence, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. As an on-call caregiver, you'll provide coverage across Oakland, Macomb, and East Wayne Counties, stepping in when clients need you most. What You'll Do Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, mobility support, toileting) Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands Offer companionship and emotional support Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Home Helpers team Document care activities and follow care plans with accuracy Be available for flexible, on-call shifts (days, evenings, weekends as needed) What We're Looking For Caring heart and genuine passion for helping others Experience in caregiving (professional or personal) Excellent communication skills—clear, compassionate, and reliable Dependability and flexibility to cover shifts on short notice Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass background check and meet state requirements Why Join Home Helpers?
