Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience in CT and X-Ray for an evening shift outpatient and ED setting, with first-time travelers welcome.

Details

• Outpatient and ED setting serving adult and pediatric patients
• CT procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction, cardiac CT (pulmonary vein CT, cardiac calcium scores, perfusion studies)
• X-Ray procedures include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and upper/lower extremities
• Approximately 8–9 IV starts required per day
• Equipment includes PACS, portables, and Siemens CT; Samsung X-Ray preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• 4x8 evening shifts, Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
• Occasional floating to other facilities may be required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT and X-Ray experience required
• ARRT certification in both CT and Radiography (R) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Outpatient (adult and pediatric) and ED experience required
• Proficiency with PACS, portables, and Siemens equipment required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with infants and pediatric patients preferred
• Samsung X-Ray experience preferred
• Must be able to perform IV insertions
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• License required if applicable
• Copy of DL required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• A pass/fail EKG exam is required during compliance; two attempts are allowed and candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
