Operations ManagerLocated on the Yarmouth shores, Red Jacket Resorts is a collection of five classic resorts that have been catering to families, couples, groups and weddings alike since 1968. Our team of hospitality experts pride themselves in creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences for our guests.The collection is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to join their team and oversee the collection's Blue Rock Resort. The resort is nestled in the heart of South Yarmouth across from a championship, par-3 golf course. The resort features 44 guest rooms, meeting space and an outdoor pool. This role will be responsible for the effective management of all resort functional areas to maximize financial performance while upholding quality standards and maximizing the guest experience.Essential functions:Ensure that guests experience exceeds expectationsCollaborate with all departments to ensure that operations run smoothlyMaintain complete knowledge of the hotel's inner workings, including room rates, rooms operations, hotel policies, availability, and profitability strategiesConduct revenue management audits for all department budgets, including purchase journals, expenditures, capital requests, labor, and present reports to the general managerConduct staff meetings, with a focus on guest relationsCoordinate with human resources to interview, hire, and train hotel operations staffEnsure that property preventative maintenance is conductedSupport coworkers and team as needed to ensure efficient operationPerform duties, special assignments and projects as requested by management.General Requirements:Outstanding customer service skillsExcellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication skillsAbility and willingness to step into any role to ensure the success of the hotel operationEffective in conflict resolution, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessaryThorough knowledge of hotel operations practices and proceduresConsiderable knowledge of state and federal laws and regulationsAbility to multitask and prioritize and delegate daily workloadOutstanding organizational and time management skillsAbility to handle sensitive material with the utmost discretion and confidentialityEducation & Experience:5+ years of experience in the hospitality field, preferably in a full-service hotelProficient in the use of Accounting and Property Management Systems; i.e. ProfitSword, Ottimate, Stay n Touch, Hotel EffectivenessEOS Hospitality is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status under applicable law.
