**Location: **New Kensington, PA
Pay Rates- Blender (Entry Level): $24.00/hour - No experience required
- Blender I: $26.00/hour - Wash/Anti-Freeze experience preferred
- Blender II: $28.00/hour - Must be barge certified and trained on all blending functions
- Blender Lead: $30.00/hour - Barge certified with leadership responsibilities
- Shift Differential: Additional $1.00/hour for second shift
- Training: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- After Training: 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM
- Monday through Friday
The Blending Operator is responsible for chemical handling, product blending, material transfers, and supporting production operations. This position ensures products are blended accurately, safely, and efficiently while maintaining quality standards and production schedules.
Essential Responsibilities- Blend products according to batch formulas and production requirements.
- Monitor blend quality and verify product specifications are met.
- Document raw material usage, lot numbers, and production data.
- Receive bulk chemicals and raw materials from tanker trucks, railcars, and barges.
- Load finished products into tanker trucks and other transport equipment.
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
- Inspect tanks, piping systems, and production equipment for proper operation.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Assist with troubleshooting quality or production issues.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental guidelines.
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the facility.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Manufacturing, production, chemical processing, or industrial experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb stairs throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to wear required PPE and safely handle chemical products.
