Preferred Qualifications

• Previous hands-on maintenance experience, ideally in a multifamily or residential setting
• Experience in tenant or customer service relations is strongly preferred
• Experience with snow removal and plowing
• Live within 30 mins of the property.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history
• Reliable Transportation
• Highschool diploma, GED, or one-year related experience
• On-Call rotation with compensation offered.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in basic construction trades including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Proficient in basic appliance repair
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
• Physically able to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, climbing, and working in various conditions
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures

Essential Functions

• Perform general maintenance duties including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting
• Prepare vacant units for new move-ins, ensuring all systems and aesthetics meet property standards
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of the on-call rotation
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to avoid breakdowns and maintain operational efficiency
• Maintain the property’s exterior and grounds, including trash pickup, sweeping, and light landscaping
• Perform routine pool maintenance to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
• Coordinate and complete special projects as assigned by the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor
• Assist with snow removal

Work Environment

• This role involves work in both indoor and outdoor environments
• Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, snow and humidity
• Potential exposure to dust, electrical currents, heights, and other typical job site hazards
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and on-call emergencies as needed
