Job Description
The Tractor Trailer Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely across both interstate and local routes during daytime driving shifts. This role requires operation of tractor-trailer combinations and managing single-driver routes with an emphasis on time management and vehicle inspection to ensure compliance and safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailer combinations on interstate and local routes
- Drive primarily during daytime on single-driver routes
- Inspect vehicle to ensure safety and compliance before and after trips
- Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
- Manage time effectively to maximize productivity and safety
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of commercial truck driving experience
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Proven safe driving record
- Strong route navigation skills
- Thorough vehicle inspection knowledge
- Excellent time management abilities
