Job Description
Talent sourcing Direct is seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Guard to protect employees, visitors, property, and assets. The Security Guard is responsible for monitoring premises, patrolling assigned areas, preventing unauthorized access, responding to incidents, and maintaining a safe and secure environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong observation skills, professionalism, integrity, and the ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure the security and safety of people and property.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
- Control access to facilities by verifying identification and authorizing entry.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, alarms, and disturbances.
- Prepare accurate incident, accident, and activity reports.
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, equipment, and security systems.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Investigate suspicious activities and report findings to management or law enforcement when necessary.
- Provide assistance to employees, customers, and visitors.
- Coordinate emergency response procedures, including evacuation and first aid when required.
- Maintain detailed logs and records of daily activities.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous security, law enforcement, military, or related experience preferred.
- Valid Security Guard License (if required by state/local regulations).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Basic computer skills for report writing and monitoring systems.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
Preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience using CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems.
- Customer service experience.

Schedule
- Full-time
- May include evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
- Overtime may be required based on operational needs.
