Location: Muskogee, OK

Position Type: Direct Hire
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (36 hours per week)
Pay Range: $29.89 - $44.84 per hour (depending on experience)
Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen
Experience: Must have both pediatric and adult care experience

Job Summary

• Assess, implement, and evaluate respiratory care services according to hospital standards and department policies.
• Monitor patient respiratory status and deliver appropriate respiratory therapy treatments.
• Administer respiratory therapies including nebulizers, inhalers, oxygen therapy, and chest physiotherapy.
• Manage mechanical ventilation (invasive and non-invasive) and monitor patient response to ventilator settings.
• Assist with procedures such as intubation, extubation, bronchoscopy, and suctioning.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and verify physician orders in the medical record system.
• Respond to emergency situations including code blue and rapid response calls.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and support patient care in both critical and non-critical care areas.

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures and patient care techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze clinical data and maintain accurate documentation.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

Education and Certifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program.
• Valid Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License or temporary authorization.
• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 2 months of hire.

Experience

• 0-6 months of related experience.
• Pediatric and adult respiratory care experience required.
