Requirements MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is looking for a Locum OB/GYN Hospitalist to help cover WEEKDAYS! Schedule:Start date: ASAP Patient Contact Hours: 7a-7aShift length: 24 hours requiredNOTE: physicians cannot work more than two 24-hour shifts in a rowOn Call: 24/7 in-house call. Call rooms are availableDates Needed Coverage: May 29June 4June 19August 19September 20September 22September 23November 25November 28December 21December 22December 23December 26December 29Details:Inpatient: Yes at MercyOne Des Moines Medical CenterThe facility is not accepting providers local to the Des Moines area.Telehealth: NoSupervision of APPs expected: NoNumber of exam rooms per provider: 8 bed OBEDMedical Imaging: YesLab amp Pharmacy: YesClinic provider daily volume: 1389 visits to OBED per year roughly 463 result in deliveriesMFM will be on call. There are residents but the OB Hospitalist will not be in charge of them.No GYN responsibilitiesEMR: EpicJob Responsibilities:OBED patientsemergent patients vaginal deliveries and C-sectionspatients without primary OBGYNonly maternity transport team in IowaBill Rates needed for Submission:Malpractice must be included in the ratesOrientationHourlyHoliday HourlyOvertimeHoliday OvertimeConversion fee 25k rate capTravel Reimbursements:Flights - 750/round trip cap to include all taxes and fees. No upgraded airfares or seat upgradesLodging - 1.5x the GSA rate cap average for the total stay to include taxes and feesRental Car - 55/day cap including all taxes and fees regardless of car class. SUV/upgrades over cap will need to be preapproved will only be approved if needed for inclement weatherMileage - IRS Standard Rate*Please Note: Trinity Health does not reimburse for any application or credentialing fees.

Schedule 7a-7a 24 hour call - 6.5 shifts per month
