Data Architect Azure Fabric & AI Platform
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Domain: Pharma / Life Sciences / Healthcare
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and lead an enterprise Data & AI platform supporting laboratory, device, and product development data. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure, PostgreSQL, Data Modeling, Medallion Architecture, and GenAI solutions .
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise data architecture using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, and PostgreSQL .
- Define Bronze-Silver-Gold Medallion Architecture , data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks.
- Architect ETL/ELT pipelines integrating LIMS, PLM, laboratory systems, SharePoint, and external partner data .
- Design AI-powered solutions using Azure OpenAI, RAG, Vector Databases, Semantic Search, and MCP Connectors .
- Lead API integration, cloud architecture, security, and cross-platform data solutions.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, auditability, and data traceability within a healthcare/pharma environment.

- 12+ years in Data Engineering/Data Architecture
- 5+ years as a Data Architect or Lead Data Architect
- Hands-on experience with Azure-based Data & AI platforms
