We're just getting started.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform characterization and testing of fiber optic components and modulesAnalyze test results to ensure compliance with performance specifications and quality standardsMaintain accurate, detailed records of test procedures and outcomesGenerate comprehensive test reports for internal and external stakeholdersSupport troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve product issuesDesign, plan, and conduct optical and fiber testing on components, devices, and systemsCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support NPI and manufacturing rampEducation & ExperienceBS or MS in Engineering, Physics, Optics, or a related technical field8+ years of industry experience in optical or fiber component testing preferredPrior exposure to photonics, telecom, or high-speed networking systems is a plusSkillsHands-on experience with optical test instruments (e.g., optical spectrum analyzers, power meters, polarization controllers, bit-error-rate testers)Familiarity with communication interfaces and test automation toolsAbility to write or adapt scripts for automation (Python, LabVIEW, Visual Basic; Shell scripting a plus)Strong analytical skills to interpret complex test data and identify patterns or anomaliesResourceful problem-solver with ability to apply knowledge creatively to test challengesCapable of managing multiple test projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and documentation skills; able to train and mentor peers when neededWhat We OfferCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package, including health insuranceProfessional development and certification opportunitiesAccess to cutting-edge optical/photonics test environments and toolsA collaborative, cross-functional team dedicated to solving some of the hardest challenges in photonicsEqual opportunity employer: All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, gender, identity, orientation, veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status
