Social Media & Content Intern Northline Roofing | Charlotte, NC Part-Time Internship | 15–20 Hours/Week | $17–$19/Hour Northline Roofing is looking for a creative, social-media-obsessed Social Media & Content Intern to help us grow our brand online. We're building a different kind of home-services brand—one that people actually want to follow. You’ll work directly with our founder and content team to turn what happens inside the company every day into engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn. This isn't an internship where you'll spend the semester watching from the sidelines. You’ll help us build the strategy, create the content, publish it, study what works, and make the next piece better. What You’ll Do Help manage Northline Roofing's social media presence Help grow our founder's personal brand Turn raw footage into Reels, TikToks and YouTube Shorts Write hooks, captions and post copy Build and maintain a weekly content calendar Repurpose content across multiple platforms Create Stories and simple social graphics Research trends, creators and content ideas Engage with comments and our online community Track views, engagement, follower growth and leadsIdentify winning content and help us create more of it Work alongside our videographer to plan upcoming shoots and content Who We're Looking For We're less interested in how impressive your résumé looks and more interested in whether you understand the internet. You might be a great fit if you: Spend way too much time studying social media Understand what makes someone stop scrolling Can recognize a great hook Follow creators, entrepreneurs and brands online Understand Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts Have strong writing and communication skills Know your way around CapCut, Canva or similar tools Are organized enough to manage a content calendar Pay attention to trends without blindly copying them Are willing to experiment and learn quickly Marketing, communications, advertising and media students are encouraged to apply, but your creativity, taste and initiative matter more to us than your major. The Details Location: Charlotte, NC Hours: 15–20 hours/week Pay: $17–$19/hour Schedule: Flexible around school with a mix of in-person and remote work Duration: Semester-based with potential to continue Why Northline? You’ll see the entire process—from an idea on a whiteboard to filming, editing, publishing, paid advertising and ultimately generating customers.
