Job Description Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Plano, Texas. This role involves working in a burn trauma intensive care unit, providing specialized care for trauma and burn patients. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. Job Details Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Location: Plano, Texas Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license (R.N.), zero years of experience required, relevant certifications including Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and Basic Life Support (BLS). Preferred Qualifications: Certification as a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN). Additional Experience: Must have trauma, burn, or surgical ICU experience. Experience with Meditech electronic medical records is preferred. A team‑oriented personality that is not afraid to ask questions and offers to help others is ideal. Float: Float rotation may be required. Unit: The burn trauma ICU has 30 beds, a team of 85 staff members, and patient ratios of 2:1 for ICU patients and 4:1 for progressive care unit. Type of equipment: Critical care equipment specific to burn and trauma ICU care.
