Registered Nurse
The position requires a registered nurse to work in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to critically ill patients. Must be willing to work 4 of the 8 designated holidays throughout the year. Floating to various hospital care areas may be required to meet facility needs. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. The patient-to-nurse ratio will be 2:1 during shifts. Experience with ventilated patients and acute renal failure is preferred. Additional skills in managing chest tubes and administering blood products are needed. Candidates should have strong experience in managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction. The facility offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy and pharmacy services. The nurse will care for adult and geriatric patient populations. Experience with CRRT is essential for this role.
