CNA/Home Health Aide (Wellness Associate)

Job SummaryThe Wellness Associate reports to the Wellness Director and the Wellness Manager and provides services and care to each resident based on the individual resident service plan. Essential functions include assisting residents with activities of daily living, maintaining awareness of each resident's general state of physical and mental health, keeping an inventory of medical supplies, assisting with shift coverage, orienting and on-boarding new wellness associates, responding to resident emergencies, providing first-aid, assisting residents in keeping their units clean, answering calls for assistance, assisting with clothing and laundry needs, assisting with meal selection, service, and feeding, assisting with activity programs, maintaining records, participating in in-service education, and carrying out other duties as assigned. Compliance and safety, communication, education/experience/licensure/certification, and physical requirements are also part of the role.
