CANDIDATE PROFILE
Looking for a candidate with hands-on experience and expertise on Oracle Database, SQL , PL/SQL , Informatica Power Center (ETL) tools with knowledge on Azure cloud and background in reporting specifically PowerBI and OBIEE.


Required: (Strong in OBIEE & SQL, need both) Candidates we have interviewed have been strong in one or the other but not both SQL Development and OBIEE development.


Reporting skills - OAS(latest version on OBIEE) SQL - SR. LEVEL EXPERTISE


Team is moving current reports to OAS If they wrote new reports in OAS that would be good, OBIEE still important but needs OAS - BI Publisher -REQUIRED Nice to have skills: Cloud (not so important) ETL Two rounds of interviews

As a Senior data engineer, you will be responsible for-

• Responsible for migrating existing reports to a new platform.
• Actively participate in release planning, daily stand up as well as working & helping team with tactical activities like PL/SQL, ETL Development, maintenance, code review, performance tuning, bug fix, troubleshooting production incidents, design optimization etc.
• Recommending and following the best engineering practices.
• Building quality solutions that align with the technology blueprint and best practices to solve business problems by driving design, development, and ongoing support.

The Skills that are Key to this role

• Strong in Oracle and postgress database Concepts.
• Hands-on Development in SQL / PL SQL which includes performance tuning, writing packages, stored procedures, troubleshooting skills etc.
• Hands on experience developing complex reports in PowerBI and OAS.
• Should have some exposure to Data modeling so that they can contribute in terms of redesigning of database objects, especially during performance issues.
• Hands-on Development experience in Informatica PowerCenter.
• Exposure to Control M, Source Tree
• Having knowledge in cloud concepts (Aws/Azure), snowflake, data lake is preferred.
