Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.39 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify permissions when required, and support orderly movement throughout the location while following site-specific protocols. Assist with security-related responses involving patient assistance areas, waiting rooms, and/or other public-facing spaces while maintaining professionalism and clear communication. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Hospital vaccination requirements must be met. Ability to work in and around a hospital morgue is required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
