Teller

Job Overview The Teller will be responsible for daily teller transactions in both the lobby and drive-up locations of the branch. The position also supports outstanding client service and maintains client relationships by recognizing referral opportunities for additional products and services. Responsibilities Process client account transactions, including deposits, loan payments, checks, savings withdrawals, and currency exchanges. Answer client questions in person and over the telephone. Identify cross-sell and referral opportunities and refer clients to appropriate banking professionals. Utilize 360View to record activities, incidents, and referrals. Process consumer credit card applications. Execute special client requests such as account closures, check orders, foreign currency exchanges, and safe-deposit box procedures. Reconcile cash drawer and maintain accurate cash supplies. Comply with bank operations and security procedures, participate in dual-control functions, and maintain client traffic surveys. Maintain confidentiality and protect bank operations by safeguarding information. Attend training sessions and assist team members as needed. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to handle confidential information with discretion; strong mathematical aptitude; excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills; exceptional attention to detail. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required; experience in a cash-handling role preferred. Physical Demands Dexterity of hands/fingers to operate keyboard and mouse – frequent handling. Frequent hearing, speaking, walking, and talking. Occasional lifting up to 25 lb. Sitting, standing as required. Moderate noise level.
