Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and experienced Box Truck Delivery Driver with a major Furniture distribution company in Clarksville, TN. This position will pay $14.00 per hour, and the hours are Monday-Saturday (4 days) from 7:30am to 6:30pm.


Responsibilities:

• Daily pre-delivery inspection of vehicle for safety and maintenance
• Inspect all merchandise before it is loaded on truck
• Ensure merchandise if secure, properly padded
• Greet customers upon arrival at residence and do walk-thru of premise to discover obstacles
• Assemble merchandise in home prior to departure and instruct customer of its use
• Obey all traffic laws and maintain good driving record
• Maintain and keep truck clean in and in good repair
• Verify that designed tools are kept in their proper place
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Capable of Heavy Lifting
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Must have previous Box Truck delivery experience
• Must have the ability to read and interpret assembly instructions
• Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole
