Senior Accountant

A global sports media and entertainment company backed by top venture capital firms is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team in New York, NY. This is a high-impact role where you'll own core accounting processes while helping build and refine the systems that support a high-growth business. You will work across the general ledger, month-end close, and revenue recognition, with meaningful opportunity to drive process improvement as the company scales. Key Responsibilities: Lead operational accounting including month and year-end close Book journal entries, analyze GL accounts, and create balance sheet account reconciliations Apply ASC 606 revenue recognition standards Build cash flow forecasting models Work within NetSuite to maintain accurate financial records Identify and lead process and system improvement initiatives Assist with the annual audit Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Master's or CPA preferred 4+ years of professional accounting experience, background in media and entertainment industry is a plus Advanced Excel and NetSuite proficiency Self-starter, motivated Possess excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
