Orangetheory Fitness is a top trendsetting fitness organization with over 1,000 studio locations open worldwide. We are rapidly growing across the country! Currently seeking qualified trainers and instructors who can deliver a fantastic workout experience to our clients in the Mainline, PA and surrounding area. As an OTF Fitness Coach, you will be responsible for delivering scientifically predesigned workouts for up to 24+ clients per class. This position requires a strong ability to coach and manage time while motivating multiple clients in a group setting. Salary is extremely competitive in the industry with compensation incentives tied directly to membership and class attendance levels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver predesigned workouts to groups of 24+ members
- Energize and motivate members throughout the class
- Build OTF attendance while retaining and building relationships with current members
- Ensure safety of participants in regards to heart rate and exercise technique
- Provide options and challenges for specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels
- Teach a minimum of 6 classes weekly
- Attend monthly fitness staff meetings and required educational presentations
- Handle member concerns when applicable
- Assist sales associates, when needed, with OTF studio tours and sales
- Adhere to strict cleaning and sanitizing protocols
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- MUST HAVE Current Personal Trainer Certification from select accredited certifying bodies limited ONLY TO: NASM, ACE, ACSM, AFAA, NCSF or NSCA
- 2+ years of experience teaching groups or personal training in the fitness industry
- Current CPR/AED Certification
- Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized
- Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels
