• Follow all safety policies and procedures and ensure the safety of oneself, coworkers, and customers. 
• Complete paperwork and documentation 
• Maintain equipment and facilities in a neat, clean, safe and secure manner
• Operate machinery such as forklifts, skid steers and loaders in a safe and efficient manner
• Complete and document preventative maintenance duties such as greasing and inspections
• Respond to after-hours calls for maintenance and repairs 
• Other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical systems
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed
• Willingness to work various weather elements including cold, heat, wind, rain, etc
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Respectable mechanical skills
• Ability to work safely on elevated platforms and manlifts
• High School Diploma or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Driver License, with acceptable driving record
• Previous experience in feed and manufacturing 
• Ability to use basic computer programs and email

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Frequently required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
• Frequently required to lift heavy objects no more than 50 pounds
• Frequently required to climb
• Occasionally required to crawl, stoop, kneel, or balance

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS

• Exposed to dusty, dirty, and wet environments
• Various weather conditions including cold, heat, wind, rain, etc.
