Location: Los Angeles, CA Pay Rate: $40/hr Employment Type: Full-Time Contract; potential contract-to-hire opportunity based on availability Schedule: 9:00am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday; weekend rotation every 3 weeks Why This Role Matters As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in supporting patient recovery and wellness through comprehensive nutrition assessments, evidence-based interventions, and interdisciplinary collaboration. This position offers exposure to a variety of patient populations within a 220-bed acute care facility. What You'll Do Conduct 8-17 patient nutrition assessments daily and develop individualized care plans. Provide nutrition counseling and education to support disease management and recovery. Manage patients across ICU, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry units. Develop and monitor nutrition support plans, including TPNs and Enteral Nutrition (3-in-1 formulations). Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes within the Cerner EMR system. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and clinical best practices.
