Senior Marketing Campaign Manager

Job Overview The Campaign Manager, ExistingMarketing will own the strategy and execution of integrated, account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns targeting AvidXchange’s existing customer base to drive upsell and expansion revenue. This role sits at the intersection of marketing and sales, partnering tightly with Account Management and Customer Success to identify, engage, and grow key accounts. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, results-driven marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and excels at building scalable programs that turn customer relationships into revenue. What you will do: ABM Strategy and Execution: Design and lead account-based marketing programs targeting existing customers for upsell and expansion opportunities. Build tiered ABM strategies (1:1, 1:few, 1:many) tailored to account size, segment, and product adoption stage. Develop personalized, multi-touch campaign experiences that move accounts through the expansion funnel. Customer Upsell Campaign Management: Develop, execute, and optimize integrated campaigns across email, direct mail, digital, webinars, events, and nurture programs designed to drive upsell and cross-sell within the existing customer base. Align campaign messaging with customer lifecycle stage, product usage data, and expansion potential. Sales Alignment and Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely and daily with Account Management, Product Marketing, CustomerCommunications and Customer Success teams as a trusted marketing counterpart. Translate sales priorities into targeted marketing plays, co-develop account plans, and ensure tight feedback loops between marketing activity and pipeline impact. Serve as the marketing voice in sales team meetings and QBRs. Integrated Marketing Planning: Develop and manage integrated marketing plans that span multiple channels and tactics. Coordinate across Marketing Communications, Product Marketing, Content, and Marketing Operations to ensure campaign coherence, consistent messaging, and on-time delivery. Performance Forecasting and KPI Management: Forecast expected performance of planned programs quarterly with monthly adjustments. Monitor and report on KPIs including pipeline contribution, expansion revenue influenced, account engagement scores, and campaign ROI. Use data to continuously optimize and improve campaign effectiveness. Content and Persona Alignment: Work with Product Marketing and Content teams to ensure campaign assets align with customer personas, lifecycle stage, and expansion use cases. Tailor messaging to resonate with existing buyers who already know the brand. Marketing Platform Proficiency: Execute campaigns using Marketo (email, landing pages, smart lists), Salesforce (campaign hierarchies, dashboards, reports), and project management tools such as Monday.com. Leverage intent data, engagement signals, and product usage insights to inform targeting and personalization. Campaign Monitoring and Optimization: Oversee campaigns throughout their lifecycle. Conduct A/B testing, analyze conversion rates, and implement best practices to accelerate time-to-expansion and improve overall program efficiency. What we are looking for: ABM Experience : 3+ years of hands-on account-based marketing experience, with demonstrated results driving pipeline or revenue within an existing customer or expansion marketing context. Proven track record managing integrated, multi-channel B2B marketing campaigns end-to-end in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Deep experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales — comfortable in joint planning sessions, sales standups, and account reviews. Knows how to build trust with sellers and translate marketing activity into business impact. Strategic understanding of marketing automation platforms (Marketo/HubSpot), lead/account scoring, and full-funnel analytics (MQL, SQL, pipeline, revenue). Proficient in Salesforce for reporting, campaign tracking, and pipeline visibility. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously; experience with tools like Monday.com or Workfront. Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to present strategy and results clearly to senior leadership. High energy, proactive self-starter who is genuinely excited to be part of a collaborative, growth-oriented marketing team where speed and results matter. Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Minimum 3–5 years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 2+ years focused on ABM, customer marketing, or expansion/upsell programs. Experience in B2B technology, SaaS, fintech, or payments. University degree or equivalent experience; typically 5+ years of prior relevant marketing experience. Additional Information Ability to travel as necessary to execute marketing initiatives, including customer events, field programs, and internal team meetings.
