Product Business AnalystLocation: Bethesda, MD - 100% Remote MUST have strong financial/mortgage industry expUSFT is seeking a dynamic individual to support its product delivery team. The ideal candidate is passionate about business analysis, is a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision. The business analyst will be responsible for defining, analyzing and documenting business requirements to support the creation of a new Mortgage-Backed Securities securitization platform. Additionally, they will participate and play an active role throughout the product delivery lifecycle.Key Job FunctionsGather business requirements and break them down into relevant, accurate and detailed user stories and/or functional requirements.Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and decompose high level information and translate it into business documents.Collaborate with product owners and key stakeholders to manage and prioritize the product backlog.Contribute effectively to the design discussions w/ software developers incl. solutions architect level developersAbility to interact w/ customers and breakdown the requirements into business process flow and wireframesAble to guide the conversation on UI front-end developmentAble to communicate and present documents with external clients and other non-Product delivery teams such as Info Sec and Risk etc.Demo the feature(s) of application the BA is responsible for to internal clients and other applicable stakeholders as neededLead reviews of operations documentation (procedures, operating manuals) with internal and external stakeholders, as neededReview test cases for quality assurance and to ensure they cover all the relevant business scenarios.Prepare and present meeting materials for key internal and external meetings (agenda, action items, minutes)Triaging incidents and defects as part of the SDLC processFamiliarity on maintaining JIRA hygiene for created stories such as fix version, account and EPIC link.Participate in status meetings with business and other key stakeholders.EducationBachelor's Degree or equivalent requiredSpecialized Knowledge & SkillsExcellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skillsCan work independently and proactively seek guidance from others as neededStrong team player and has the capacity to work collaboratively and effectively with cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment.Result oriented, accepting responsibilities and challenges that take them outside their comfort zone.Client focused.Understanding of software development and Agile MethodologyPartners well with peers, subordinates, managers and functional partnersPossess capability to manage and handle escalations by partnering with the internal & external stakeholders of the business.Have excellent organizational skills, time management skills and the ability to prioritize a full plate.Conceptual understanding of serverless architecture and Infrastructure as a codeExperience creating screens and wireframes in FIGMAExperience in working with DynamoDB, AWS AppSync, AWS Lambda is a plusKnowledge of MBS Securities and securitization is a plus
