Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our dedicated hospital facility in Tampa. You will work regular business hours, from 9 AM to 5 PM, supporting a work-life balance while serving a vibrant and diverse community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations to accurately diagnose a variety of mental health conditions.
• Provide evidence-based medication management, including prescribing psychiatric medications and closely monitoring their effectiveness and side effects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care providers and other specialists, to offer integrated care that meets the multiple needs of our patients.
• Respond to crises and provide immediate support during emotional distress, employing de-escalation techniques and therapeutic interventions.
• Engage in community outreach efforts to raise awareness about mental health resources and promote wellness initiatives.
• Deliver counseling services and psychoeducation to enhance patients' coping strategies and reinforce their understanding of their mental health conditions.
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
