Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, tracking, and shipping materials, as well as managing inventory levels by monitoring incoming and outgoing goods, identifying reorder needs, and initiating restock requests based on demand. The position requires operating material-handling equipment, driving company delivery vehicles as needed, and utilizing computerized systems for inventory control and documentation. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, effective communication with production team members, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment while supporting applicable quality and compliance standards.Key Responsibilities:Receive, inspect, track, and ship customer parts, materials, and supplies accurately and efficientlyPerform initial and ongoing inspections, ensuring proper documentation using computerized tracking and barcode systemsOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and ladders to move, stage, and store incoming and outgoing inventoryDrive company box trucks and delivery vehicles to pick up or deliver supplies as neededMaintain accurate inventory levels by counting, reconciling, and monitoring stock throughout the facilityProcess and document returned items, inventory adjustments, and invoicesOrder inventory from vendors in coordination with the purchasing departmentMonitor inventory discrepancies and support loss-prevention initiativesPerform quality checks on stored inventory to ensure compliance with company and ISO 90001 standardsPrepare inventory, shipping, and operational reports for supervisors and managementMaintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and receiving areaPerform general clerical duties, including data entry, answering calls, and assisting internal customersCollaborate with production and warehouse team members to meet customer-driven delivery schedulesSupport a fast-paced, team-oriented work environmentPerform additional duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:Highschool or G.E.D.1-2 years in inventory control1-2 years in receiving and warehouse operationsProven experience operating forklifts and small delivery vehiclesDemonstrated ability to follow instructions and safely handle delicate parts, equipment, and hazardous materialsAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 35lbs pounds and work on laddersStrong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracyComfortable using computer systems for inventory management, documentation, and reportingWillingness to work overtime and weekends as neededPay: $26-$28/hourJob Condition Requirements: Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle and feel; talk or hear and smell. The environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts or equipment. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 35 pounds. Physical requirements further include the ability to engage in productive and collaborative communication and may need to be performed during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends and possibly holidays. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move about the facility. The employee is required to sit; use hands to finger; handle; or feel/hold objects; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; speak, hear, and smell. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear as well as interact with other employees. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
