Assembler

Assembler We are currently seeking an assembler to support the build of chiller units for data centers and custom equipment. This role involves hands-on assembly using a variety of hand and power tools, along with general shop support to keep production moving efficiently. As individuals gain experience, there will be opportunities to expand into additional assembly areas and skill sets. Responsibilities Assemble chiller units for data center applications following work instructions and build specifications. Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively. Assist with general shop and production support duties, including sweeping and maintaining a clean work area, shrink wrapping and packaging materials or completed units, and material handling and clean-up to support other assemblers. Work collaboratively with the assembly team to meet daily production goals. Follow safety guidelines, quality standards, and company procedures. Cross-train into additional areas over time, including custom unit assembly. Essential Skills 1+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in sheet metal or mechanical. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in sheet metal. A good attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively. Work Environment The work is conducted in a large warehouse with windows and high ceilings, featuring machines and assembly areas. The building is brand new and climate-controlled. Employees work within a small, family-like team with supportive leadership. The first shift operates from 5:30am to 3pm Monday through Thursday, and 5:30am to 10am on Friday. The second shift runs from 2pm to 1:30am Monday through Thursday. Both shifts include a 30-minute lunch and two paid 10-minute breaks. Casual dress code with steel toe boots is required. The company recently moved to a new location in Maple Grove and plans to open a new site in Dayton. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Grove, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.17 - $24.17/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
