Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (Contract / Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends | No Call Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit maintaining a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with SVDs, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC procedures
• Operate and interpret electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) equipment including Novii, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
• Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members on both day and night shifts
• Adhere to unit attendance policies and dress code requirements (navy blue scrubs)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
• Demonstrated competency in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and sterile vaginal exam (SVE)
• C-section circulation experience
• Intermediate fetal monitoring skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Internal monitor placement competency
• Experience in a high-volume Level IV Labor and Delivery unit
• Familiarity with JADA and Fetal Pillow equipment
