Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Rotating Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Emergency Room setting within a Critical Access facility
• Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:5
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed, drawing on required charge experience
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage as part of the standard schedule
• Float between units within the facility as operationally required
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of charge nurse experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms; locals within 50 miles may be considered at a lower rate
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NRP certification preferred
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Prior experience in a Critical Access or rural hospital setting
