People Practices Advisor-Meta Project - Monroe LA

A key local representative of People Practices (PP) ensuring a best‑in‑class employee and candidate experience, driving engagement with learning and development, partnering in cultural programming, onboarding, interview coordination and builder development program success. This role is the first point of contact for employees and managers to connect with the right resources and support within People Operations, and will be coached/managed by the People Practices Business Partner to support employees across a large/mega project site, enterprise workgroup or family of companies. Key Responsibilities Partner with People Practices Leader and People Practices Business Partner to provide best‑in‑class employee and candidate experiences. Serve as the first point of contact with employees and guide employees and managers to available tools and resources. Interpret and apply consistently People Practices processes, policies, and procedures. Partner with the Early Career Events Team to meet outcomes for college recruitment, summer internship and builder development program rotations. Collaborate with Centers of Excellence and People Operations to deploy PP services and execute daily tasks at a local level, including training program logistics, new hire orientation, technology support and local PP events planning and coordination. Apply basic knowledge of employee relations to support a positive and inclusive workplace culture, referring employees to Workplace Services Team or the appropriate service channel for complex matters. Responsible for the successful implementation of the company‑wide onboarding process and local adaptations. Organize People Practices events and meaningful connection points for employees (Employee Lunches, Celebrations, Safety Trainings, Mental Health Awareness, Employee Boot Program, Construction Inclusion Week). Administer employee engagement, diversity & inclusion and retention programs. Partner with the Business Partner to ensure a most admired employee experience focused on equity and inclusion throughout the employee lifecycle. Facilitate a 30/60/90‑day check‑in process with new employees and their coach(es). Responsible for the tactical aspects of employee off‑boarding, including retrieving technology assets and updating contact information in Workday. Business Unit or Large Project PP Advisor is expected to be full‑time in the office or present at a job site. Job Details This role is 100% on‑site. The candidate can be based in any DPR Construction office. Weekly travel to a project location in Monroe, LA. is required. Competitive per diem and travel incentives are offered. Education Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Bilingual (Spanish and English) fluency, both written and oral, is required. Work Experience 2‑4 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Work Environment Inside: standard office environment. Outside: occasional outdoor work (1%‑33% of time). Inside work occurs 34%‑66% of time; outside work 34%‑66% of time.
