Supply Chain Manager I

SUMMARY Mortenson is seeking a Supply Chain Manager I who will be responsible for supporting the vision, direction, and day to day operations of the Supply Chain organization. You will work closely with operations teams and suppliers to plan, coordinate, and execute Supply Chain activities. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials to meet project timelines and requirements.Hiring Location: Minneapolis, MN (preferred) - San Antonio, TX, - Denver, CO - Chicago, IL - Milwaukee, WI - Seattle, WA - Portland, ORRESPONSIBILITIESSupply Chain Operations and StrategyResponsible for managing and implementing short and long-term sourcing strategies to achieve business objectives for the Supply Chain function and contribute to Company-wide strategy.Define and direct sourcing initiatives in alignment with strategic plans and supply chain strategies.Negotiate and maintain contracts and agreements with key suppliers and service providers, ensuring quality, reliability, and competitiveness.Establish strong and effective relationships with key suppliers (existing and new) to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and productivity, while leveraging the combined buying power of Mortenson’s operationsCollaborate across all business functions to formulate, implement, and execute sourcing and continuous improvement strategies.Monitor and analyze industry trends and lead the implementation of best practices for supply chainProvide centralized leadership to designated aspects of construction project-specific procurement and identify aspects that necessitate independent, site-level procurementWhen selling materials, lead contract negotiations with assigned customers. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
