Laundry Worker

Job Title

This position sorts soiled linen into predetermined categories for the proper wash classification.

Entry Rate: $17.25+ depending on experience

Benefits Eligible: Yes

Shift Details:

• Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat or Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat
• 6:00am - 4:30pm (4 shifts per week)

Overtime may be required depending on the workload.

Work all holidays except for Thanksgiving day and Christmas Day

Job Essentials

• Under the direction of the designated Lead Person or the Production Supervisor, sorts all incoming soiled linen into predetermined linen categories.
• Complies with all health safety rules to minimize exposure (masks, impervious protective clothing and gloves).
• Washes hands before entering the clean area of the laundry.

Minimum Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to perform tasks requiring manual and physical labor
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate mutual respect to others

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$17.68 - $22.99
