This is a highly visible seat at the center of the monthly global close.It's a strong opportunity for an accountant with 2+ years in reporting or consolidations who wants exposure to M&A integration, legal entity restructurings, and the redesign of a large, complex reporting function.What You'll Do:Support the monthly global close, consolidation, and financial reporting across a complex multi-entity structurePrepare topside journal entries, intercompany eliminations, and investment eliminationsReview intercompany balances and reconciliations, and help strengthen intercompany controls and processesBuild reports and maintain consolidation modules within the company's Oracle-based consolidation platformAssess the impact of new accounting and reporting rules on systems and support new standard implementationsPrepare and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliancePartner with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and Treasury on internal and external reporting needsSupport key projects including acquisitions, divestitures, internal reorganizations, and system integrationsPrepare deliverables for auditors, lenders, sponsors, tax authorities, and other stakeholdersWhat We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business2+ years of accounting experience in financial reporting, consolidations, or technical accountingCPA strongly preferredSolid working knowledge of US GAAPIntermediate Excel (index/match, pivot tables, nested IFs) and comfort with large data setsPublic company or Big 4 experience with public xhyhwjd clients preferredExperience with a consolidation system (Oracle EPM, Tagetik, BPC) a plusMultinational, multi-entity environment experience a plusCash flow statement, Alteryx, or Tableau experience a plusWhy This Role Stands Out: High-visibility seat at the center of the global close Exposure to M&A integration, restructurings, and reporting transformation projects Cross-functional partnership with FP&A, Tax, and Treasury Large, growing global organization with strong development and continuing education support Hybrid flexibility in the North Suburbs of Chicago
