Job Description:

This position requires a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in a labor and delivery setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maternal and neonatal health and a strong commitment to supporting families during the childbirth process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding the labor and delivery process.
• Utilize advanced neonatal resuscitation techniques as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
• Five (5) or more years of recent experience in labor and delivery.
• One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years.
• High-risk obstetric experience is preferred.
