Warehouse Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team at the Woodstock, CT facility. In this role, you will play a key part in the Shipping department by assisting with administrative responsibilities, including preparing shipping documentation and supporting logistics functions to ensure timely and accurate shipments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare accurate documentation for all outgoing shipments (e.g., packing slips, shipping labels, bills of lading)
• Ensure timely and organized processing of daily shipments
• Maintain shipping records and logs
• Coordinate with carriers and internal departments to verify schedules and delivery requirements
• Perform data entry and maintain filing systems
• Provide administrative support to the Shipping Supervisor and other team members
• Assist with inventory counts and basic warehouse organization as needed

Compensation: Pay will be offered based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, and certifications.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a shipping/receiving or administrative support role preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and shipping software (UPS, FedEx, etc.)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Dependable and punctual
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
