Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure management, is seeking a dedicated Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the site operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining critical systems, which will align successfully in the organization. Location: Owings Mills, MD Shift: Monday–Friday, 1st shift (day shift) with flexibility to support 2nd or 3rd shift as needed for team PTO or sick coverage. Pay: $42/hr Contract Duration: 4–5 month contract

What's the Job?

• Operate and maintain critical and non-critical infrastructure, equipment, and systems in the data center.
• Monitor power, cooling capacity, and environmental conditions within the data halls.
• Assist in the development and execution of operating procedures and preventive maintenance inspections.
• Respond to electrical and mechanical issues promptly, minimizing risk and communicating effectively.
• Coordinate with outside contractors to ensure compliance with work rules and safety standards.

What's Needed?

• 5-7 years of experience in a related technical environment.
• Prior military or technical school training is preferred.
• 1-3+ years' experience working in Mission Critical Environments.
• Basic skills in HVAC, electrical, and fire suppression systems.
• Electrical or mechanical license is preferred.
