Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead a high-performing banking location in Highland, NY. This position is responsible for overseeing branch operations, developing staff, growing customer relationships, and driving business development activities while maintaining operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate will have prior branch management experience, a strong background in retail banking, and experience overseeing a branch with a substantial deposit portfolio. Candidates with experience managing $80 million+ in deposits are strongly preferred.

Branch Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead daily branch operations, sales efforts, and customer service initiatives
• Coach, develop, and motivate staff to achieve branch performance goals
• Grow consumer and business banking relationships through excellent service and business development efforts
• Identify opportunities to expand deposits, loans, and other banking services
• Support consumer and business account openings and referral opportunities
• Build relationships within the local community through networking and business outreach
• Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, audit standards, and internal procedures
• Monitor branch performance, profitability, and operational risk
• Conduct employee coaching, training, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with leadership on branch growth strategies and market opportunities

Qualifications & Experience:

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3–5 years of banking experience required
• Previous branch management experience required
• Experience managing a branch with a deposit portfolio of at least $80 million preferred
• Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong background in sales, customer relationship management, and business development
• Knowledge of retail banking operations, compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, coaching, and team-building skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and banking software platforms
• Ability to obtain NMLS registration and Notary Public certification
• Valid driver's license required
