Registered Nurse, Interventional Radiology
ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Interventional Radiology (Day Shift) in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Location: Hackensack, NJ
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift: Shift: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with weekend requirements of every 8th or 9th weekend and 1 holiday as needed. On-call requirement every 8th or 9th weekend on call and call as needed during the week.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology will deliver nursing practices rooted in the latest evidence-based research and standards of care, ensuring the safe and individualized care of patients. This role involves continuous communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members regarding patient status and care plans.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications utilizing the latest advancements in bar-scanning and documentation technologies to ensure the safe delivery of medications.
- Perform ongoing point-of-care electronic documentation of each patient's assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide patient and family-centered education aimed at optimizing health, wellness, and disease management.
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary discharges of patients to guarantee safe transition and continuity of care.
Required Experience
Must have six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience, preferably in radiology.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS - AHA
- New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
- ACLS
- PALS
