City/State: Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift: Multiple shifts available Position Summary As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will perform laboratory tests; interpret test results; document and report test results; maintain equipment, instruments, and tools. Responsibilities Perform routine and complex laboratory testing procedures. Analyze and interpret laboratory data and test results. Accurately document and report test findings. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation. Follow quality assurance, quality control, and safety protocols. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to support patient care. Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $28.70 - $43.17 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
