Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd shift Overview Shaw Industries is looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to support a 2nd shift manufacturing process at a successful facility in Cartersville, GA. This position will manage a 2nd shift team as they strive to produce quality carpet tile in an accident-free environment, emphasizing safety, quality and team development. Responsibilities Partner with Plant Management, Human Resources and all team members to facilitate improvement initiatives. Act as a facilitator to aid associates in examining and improving the ways they work together to achieve better results. Manage group and one-to-one discussions, applying coaching and corrective action when necessary. Communicate goals and direction of the team. Develop and maintain a firm working knowledge of carpet manufacturing processes, equipment and procedures. Shift 8-hour non-rotating shift, hours fall to in-punch day, observed calendar. Shift starts PM.
